65. Stroke Imprint: Knitting Reassurance Into Anxious Moments
DescriptionStroke Imprint is a knitted wearable that simulates affective strokes to comfort young women experiencing anxiety by using pressure sensing and SMA-based actuation. Paired with a digital interface, the glove allows users to record personalized tactile sensation. Through user interviews, design iterations, and user testing, the study demonstrates its therapeutic potential as an anxiety-tracking wearable within a closed biofeedback loop.
