SUMMARY:Senior AI Observability Engineer
DESCRIPTION:NVIDIA’s AI Infrastructure organization is seeking a Senior AI
  Observability Engineer to help architect and implement distributed observ
 ability systems for AI and HPC clusters. We serve and collaborate directly
  with NVIDIA’s rapidly growing AI, HW, and SW engineering and research tea
 ms across the company. You will be working with a team of dedicated engine
 ers on systems for data collection, aggregation, enrichment, storage, retr
 ieval, and visualization to spectacularly improve efficiency, performance,
  and productivity of AI and HPC workloads. You will develop, deploy, and o
 perate observability solutions for multiple compute clusters around the wo
 rld.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\n\nCollaborate with AI, HW, SW engineering a
 nd research teams to deliver observability solutions that meet their needs
  in AI/HPC clusters.\n\nDevelop, test, and deploy data collectors, pipelin
 es, visualization and retrieval services.\n\nBuild a self-serve platform\n
 \nDefine data collection and retention policies to balance network bandwid
 th, system load, and storage capacity costs with data analysis requirement
 s.\n\nWork in a diverse team to provide operational and strategic data to 
 empower our engineers and researchers to improve performance, productivity
 , and efficiency.\n\nContinuously improve quality, workloads, and processe
 s through better observability.\n\nWhat We Need to See:\n\nExperience deve
 loping large scale, distributed observability systems.\n\nAbility to colla
 borate with data scientists, researchers, and engineering teams to identif
 y high value data for collection and analysis.\n\nExperience with turning 
 raw data into actionable reports\n\nExperience with observability platform
 s such as Apache Spark, Elastic/Open Search, Grafana, Prometheus, and othe
 r similar open-source tools\n\nPython programming experience and use of AP
 I calls\n\nPassion for improving the productivity of others\n\nExcellent p
 lanning and interpersonal skills\n\nFlexibility/adaptability working in a 
 dynamic environment with changing requirements\n\nMS (preferred) or BS in 
 Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent 
 experience)\n\n8+ yrs of proven experience.\n\nWays To Stand Out from The 
 Crowd:\n\nPractical experience in machine learning, deep learning, open-so
 urce software, infrastructure technologies, and GPU technology.\n\nPrior e
 xperience in infrastructure software, production application software deve
 lopment, software development, release and support methodology and DevOps\
 n\nExperience in the management of datacenters and large-scale distributed
  computing\n\nExperience working with AI researchers and/or EDA developers
 \n\nConsistent track record of driving process improvements and measuring 
 efficiency and a passion for sharing knowledge and experience driving comp
 lex projects end-to-end.\n\nYour base salary will be determined based on y
 our location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. T
 he base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4, and 224,000
  USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5.\nYou will also be eligible for equity and
