Fixing gameplay bugs and seeing your code in action on the virtual pitch in a matter of minutes is an extremely satisfying experience.\n\nYour Responsibilities:\n- Bring th e vision of the artists and designers to life.\n- Design and write the cod e that runs and controls the game, incorporating and adapting existing lib raries and writing custom code\n- Prototype new mechanics to prove designs and improve on mechanics.\n- Design technical designs for Gameplay system s.\n- Develop tools and workflows to produce new game features.\n- Work wi th a proprietary engine to develop shareable code and interface correctly with the engine.\n\nYour Qualifications:\n- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experien ce\n- Proficiency with C++ and experience in object-oriented design and im plementation\n- Experience architecting and implementing A.I., character c ontrol, multiplayer, or other gameplay-related systems\n- Demonstrated kno wledge of good software programming practices\n- Understanding of multithr eaded architectures and synchronization principles\n- Excellent debugging experience using tools to help debug\n- Understand performance implication of Gameplay systems & algorithms and how to improve.\n\n\nCOMPENSATION AN D BENEFITS\nThe ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to p ay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting .
