You will be a key contributor in solving the animation challenges represented by a low i nput latency, sim-driven, contact sports game.\n\nYour Responsibilities:\n - Architect and implement animation strategies for time sensitive gameplay mechanics in a responsive, multiplayer game in collaboration with enginee rs, animators, and designers.\n- Work with engineering teams to implement core animation systems and gameplay features.\n- Work directly with animat ors to debug and improve animation workflows.\n- Share domain knowledge an d mentor engineers within their team.\n- Design, implement and document te chnology and strategies to help develop games mechanics in a multiplayer e nvironment by other team members.\n- Oversee features and collaborate with team members to solve problems.\n\nYour Qualifications\n- 10+ years' expe rience in software development with a C++ focus and proficiency in C#.\n- Shipped action games as an important contributor in animation pipelines an d associated systems, such as: melee combat, sports or sports adjacent.\n- Familiarity with runtime inverse-kinematic systems.\n- Experience develop ing in and debugging multi-threaded/concurrent/simultaneous multiplayer ar chitectures.\n- Experience with Visual Studio and knowledge of the debuggi ng tools and profilers.\n\nBonus:\n- Experience with motion matching.\n- E xperience using animation as a latency hiding technique in a multiplayer g ame.\n- Shipped fast-paced multiplayer melee combat game, or similar.\n- E xperience with network architecture of MMO games.\n- Experience working wi th Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo game consoles.\n- Experience working with iOS and Android.\n- Experience developing large-scale multiplayer games.\n - Experience with Frostbite, Unreal or Unity.\n\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS \nThe ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applica nts for this role in these locations at the time of this posting.
