As a contributor, you are an expert in the Technical Art field, with main responsibilities including developing content workfl ows and solutions in game engine, systems, optimizations, integrations wit h other production systems, and scripting game engine tools.\n\nSenior Tec hnical Artists are expected to assume ownership over assigned areas - unde rstanding requirements, developing solutions or prototypes, and resolving any technical issues that arise during development. You will partner with other Technical Artists and Artists on the team, as well as collaborate wi th the game teams and other Sports Tech central teams. You can be from an Art, Design, Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science background; how ever, you must demonstrate a comfort level in working with both art and sc ience. \n\nYour Qualifications:\n- At least 6+ years of cinematic/games pr oduction experience.\n- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related f ield.\n- Effective at communicating with different audiences: artists, eng ineers, and managers.\n- Proficient scripting/programming in Python, C#, o r other game engine scripting environments.\n- Expert knowledge of 2D and 3D art packages such as Maya, Photoshop, and Houdini. Substance Designer i s a bonus.\n- A solutions provider, especially as it pertains to developin g techniques to meet quality targets within technical constraints.\n- Expe rience with asset optimization challenges/techniques, especially in game e ngines.\n- A willingness to jump into the unknown and solve new problems; the ability to think creatively to resolve technical challenges and limita tions.\n- A Passion for Games!\n\n\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS\nThe ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting.
