 talizes Hsinchu’s pith paper cultural heritage in Taiwan by integrating bi
 omimicry, shape memory alloy (SMA) technology, and interactive design. Thi
 s kinetic artwork features pith petals that open and close in response to 
 viewer interaction, evoking the natural movement of a mimosa plant through
  infrared sensor activation. Developed in close collaboration with local p
 ith paper artisans, the project highlights the expertise of traditional cr
 aftspeople while bridging heritage and contemporary technologies. By reima
 gining endangered crafts through hybrid methods, "Mimosa Pithics" fosters
