SUMMARY:High-Fidelity Novel View Synthesis via Splatting-Guided Diffusion
DESCRIPTION:Xiang Zhang (ETH Zürich, DisneyResearch|Studios); Yang Zhang a
nd Lukas Mehl (DisneyResearch|Studios); Markus Gross (ETH Zürich, DisneyRe
 search|Studios); and Christopher Schroers (DisneyResearch|Studios)\n\nWe p
resent SplatDiff, a pixel-splatting-guided diffusion model for single-imag
e novel view synthesis (NVS). Leveraging pixel splatting and video diffusi
on, SplatDiff generates high-quality novel views with consistent geometry
and high-fidelity details. SplatDiff achieves state-of-the-art results in
single-view NVS and demonstrates remarkable zero-shot performance on spars
e-view NVS and stereo video conversion.\n\nInterest Area: Research & Educa
tion\n\nRecording: Livestreamed, Not Livestreamed, Recorded, Not Recorded\
n\nRegistration Category: Full Conference, Virtual Access, Thursday\n\nSes
sion Chair: Karol Myszkowski (Max Planck Institute for Informatics)\n\n
