SUMMARY:Kinematic Motion Retargeting for Contact-Rich Anthropomorphic Mani
 pulations
DESCRIPTION:Arjun Lakshmipathy, Jessica Hodgins, and Nancy Pollard (Carneg
ie Mellon University) and Arjun Lakshmipathy\n\nWe present a simple, but e
ffective framework for kinematically retargeting contact-rich anthropomorp
hic hand-object manipulations by exploiting contact areas. We reliably ret
arget contact area data between diverse hands using a novel non-isometric
shape matching process and generate high quality results using the retarge
ted contacts alongside a straightforward IK-based motion synthesis pipelin
