NeST: Neural Stress Tensor Tomography by leveraging 3D Photoelasticity

DescriptionNeST enables non-destructive 3D stress analysis of transparent objects using the polarization of light. Traditional 2D methods require destructively slicing the object. Instead, we reconstruct the entire 3D stress field by jointly handling phase unwrapping and tensor tomography using neural implicit representations and inverse rendering, enabling novel 3D stress visualizations.
