LightLab: Controlling Light Sources in Images with Diffusion Models

DescriptionLightLab is a diffusion-based method for parametric control over light sources in an image. Leveraging the linearity of light we create a dataset of controled illumniation changes from a small set of real image pairs and synthetic renders, which is used to fine-tune a model to enable physically plausible edits.
