Image-Space Collage and Packing with Differentiable Rendering

DescriptionThis work introduces an efficient image-space collage technique that optimizes geometric layouts using a differential renderer and hierarchical resolution strategy. Our approach simplifies complex shape handling in image-space optimization, offering fixed computational complexity. Experiments show our method is an order of magnitude faster than state-of-the-art while supporting diverse visual expressions.
