Vinícius Hirono Gonçalves is a Master's student in Computer Engineering at the University of Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil, working within the AIMS AI Lab under Dr. Paula Dornhofer Paro Costa. Supported by a CAPES Academic Excellence Program scholarship, his research focuses on advancing machine learning methodologies with applications in computer graphics, particularly in geometry processing. His work also draws on principles of human vision, exploring how machine learning can contribute to visual assistance technologies. Vinícius holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Unicamp (2024).
