Biography
Dr. Claudia Krebs is a Professor of Teaching in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia, specializing in anatomy education and biomedical visualization. With a career distinguished by innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to ethical science communication, Dr. Krebs has transformed how students and professionals engage with complex anatomical concepts. She is the founder of the HIVE (Hackspace for Innovation and Visualization in Education), where she integrates extended reality into medical education. A recipient of multiple awards, she was named a Fellow of the American Association for Anatomy and is the 2025 Henry Gray Distinguished Educator.
