Houman Khosravani

Biography
Dr. Houman Khosravani is a clinician in quality & innovation and assistant professor of medicine in the division of neurology at the University of Toronto. He earned his BSc(Hon) in astronomy/physics & biology from York University in 2000, his MSc in physiology from the University of Toronto in 2002, and his MD and PhD from the University of Calgary in 2010. He completed his residency in neurology and internal medicine at Western University, and fellowships in critical care (neurocritical care) and stroke at the University of Toronto and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Dr. Khosravani's research interests include using machine learning for quality improvement and patient safety, particularly in the areas of hyper-acute stroke management and inpatient stroke services. He is also interested in understanding and improving factors that are relevant to a successful program in a comprehensive stroke center.
