Nicolas Henchoz is the founder and director of the EPFL+ECAL Lab, which redefines design research. An engineer, journalist, art director, curator, and author, he drives projects that transform technical performance into user experience. Instead of multiplying short-term ideation through design thinking, he promotes disruptive yet sustainable innovation through design doing, functional prototyping, and real-life testing. He teaches at EPFL and ECAL and is a visiting professor at Politecnico di Milano. Henchoz has produced and curated more than 30 exhibitions in Europe and the United States and is the author of several publications, including the book Design for Innovative Technologies: From Disruption to Acceptance.
