Shivesh is a PhD student in Computer Engineering at University of Toronto. From developing distributed learning systems to AI tools for trading and retrosynthetic pathway prediction, he focusses on bridging theoretical advancements with impactful use cases. His work spans forecasting financial volatility, material sensing, and enabling spatial audio generation through AI. Shivesh is interested in distributed deep learning, reinforcement learning, and large language models (LLMs), emphasizing real-time decision-making in fintech, such as algorithmic and high-frequency trading.
